3rd International Symposium on Biodiversity Research, ISBR 2021

 Dear participants,

The term of "Biodiversity", which is very important for people to survive, includes all living things, especially plant and animal species. The value of Biodiversity, which is an indispensable element for the continuity of ecological functions in every part of the world, is better understood today. On the other hand, it is the common duty of all humanity to take the necessary measures to protect biodiversity, which is under more and more threatening, on a global scale and to pass it on to future generations. Organized for this purpose, the 3rd International Symposium on Biodiversity Research (ISBR 2021) aims to increase academic knowledge sharing and awareness on Biodiversity.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 3rd International Symposium on Biodiversity Research (ISBR 2021) will be held online by Erzurum Technical University, Faculty of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics between 20-22 October 2021.

We have arranged the symposium programme to host global discussion themes on various topics of Biodiversity: Agricultural biodiversity and conservation, Aquatic (marine and freshwater) biodiversity, Biodiversity for nutrition and food security, Biodiversity for tourism, Biodiversity of parasites and their hosts, Biogeography, Biomonitoring, Conservation biology, policy and strategies, Diversity of animal species, systematics and phylogeny, Diversity of plant species, systematics and phylogeny, Ecosystem approach, Effects of biodiversity to human health, Environmental education, Environmental stress on biodiversity, Environmental toxicology, Forest biodiversity, Global climate change effects on biodiversity, Habitat fragmentation and destruction, Human effects on biodiversity, Invasive species, Legal regulations for protecting biodiversity, Microbial biodiversity (Micology, virology), Pollution effects on biodiversity, Population ecology, Protected areas, Medicinal plants.
